Looking back on this year

After three years of planning, the “Precious you Station” has begun. Through the work of Soul Care, we are supporting the operation of several small support groups. It is a small beginning, but we hope to be able to nurture it carefully. It is also a big step forward that we were able to publish Soul Care's first publication, “Looking at Yourself Through God's Grace”. It is only one booklet, but it took a lot of time to edit. We plan to continue publish pastoral care-related materials in Japanese.

Goals for 2025

  • To utilize the gifts and enthusiasm of those who have joined our activities in various ways, while working together with them for the sake of mission.
  • To continue our efforts to build a network. To cooperate with those and organizations interested in pastoral care and mental health.
  • To improve our ability to communicate, including video content.
  • To move to Japan in July 2025. To transition to work in Japan without having a major impact on our mission.
  • Increase our online outreach.
  • Continue to hold events using Soul Care booklets. In-person retreats: January in Atlanta, February online training workshop
  • Start “Spiritual Care III” in the fall and winter
